It was a beautiful day here on Sat. so Dad and I decided to go for a drive. We ended up driving to Liberty, which is about an hour from Lexington down windey country roads. There were lots of 'wild'daffodils blooming in fields, along the road etc. So very pretty. On the way home I said "Lets take this other road and see some new territory". The sign said Lexington 34 miles so I didn't figure we could be too far off the beaten trail. 2 hours later (after seeing all sorts of country) we ended up at home. Dad said he's planned on a nice 3 hour drive; not a 5 1/2 hour drive.
